Building Cyber Resilience in Malta

Diligex will be the sole distributor of Thomas Murray’s cyber security products and services in Malta, delivering best-in-class attack surface and third party risk management, cyber advisory, testing and incident response services to the Maltese market. As the threat and regulatory landscape rapidly evolves, Diligex will be well placed to provide cutting-edge solutions to meet its clients’ challenges.

Complying with DORA

The EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) will come into force in January 2025, requiring all financial institutions to meet key obligations around ICT Risk Management, Incident Classification & Reporting, Third-Party Risk, Operational Resilience Testing and Information Sharing. Many smaller entities that have not been subject to these requirements face a real challenge in the next year. Thomas Murray’s solutions can help firms achieve compliance effectively and affordably.

CyberRoot 2023

Thomas Murray and Diligex are proud to be Gold Sponsors of CyberRoot 2023, organised by the Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA). The event, on 9th November, is Malta’s foremost cyber security conference, featuring international and national speakers as well as industry professionals and local cyber security vendors. The event will address key issues of national, organisation and systemic cyber security, including emerging threats, building resilient infrastructure, accessing premium threat intelligence, and responding to cyber incidents.

Simon Thomas, Thomas Murray’s Executive Chairman, said “Thomas Murray is delighted to be attending CyberRoot 2023 with Diligex as part of our deep commitment to providing cyber security expertise and solutions in Malta. As the threat and regulatory landscape continues to evolve, companies need to stay ahead. Matthew Agius Mamo, Diligex’s CEO, said "At Diligex, we understand the increasing cybersecurity risks and the critical importance of proactive compliance measures, especially in the context of the aims of the incoming Digital Operational Resiliency Act (DORA). Beyond DORA, cybersecurity needs to be achievable and effective across the board, as any entity can fall victim irrespective of size and regulatory obligations. Our collaboration with Thomas Murray strengthens our ability to provide holistic and robust cybersecurity and risk management solutions to businesses of all sizes and sectors at a cost-effective reach. We are excited to engage with the cybersecurity community at CyberRoot and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on safeguarding digital assets."
